Base Game
Set across 5x3 reels Big Boom Riches is home to low paying symbols ranging from Jack to Ace with the higher paying symbols being portrayed as different coloured gems within the game. At least three of these matching symbols are needed across the slots 20 paylines to award a win to the player, winning symbols are then removed from play with a cascade of new symbols triggering from the top of the game grid to fill their position. These wins are aided by the two different types of wilds present within the slots base game. Standard wilds substitute all symbols except the scatter symbol helping to create matching combinations and TNT wilds also substitute all symbols but go on to add to the slots jackpot of 5,000x at the top of the game board. Each TNT wild adds 1 to the overall counter with varying amounts of wilds offering different cash prizes from 3 collected wilds awarding 1x your bet size to 12 collected wilds unlocking the 5,000x jackpot. Genius Gambling Review
If you are a fan of wilds within your slot games Big Boom riches is the game for you. In total the slot has three different wilds that do three different features throughout the game and at least during our time with the slot they appeared surprisingly frequently. With three TNT wilds needed to unlock the first step of the jackpot in the base game and this resetting after each spin we wouldn't advise pinning your hopes on winning much through the wild collection feature however the free spins were relatively easy to unlock and have the ability to award big wins on there own! However it isn't all great news, reading glasses are essential here to see what wins you have unlocked in Big Boom Riches. For one reason or another the slot itself takes up maybe 30% of the screen with the rest of the screen depicting a scenic backdrop. We really cannot figure out why Just For The Win have chosen to make this slot release so small but as you can see from our screenshots provided the actual game takes up a tiny part of the overall screen. The slots reliance on wilds is also great for a few quick spins but over an extended play session we at least found this to be unfortunately quite dull, even with some game altering mechanics added to the wilds they still don't feel quite enough to justify an extended play session.
